Be yourself, inspire others. Aalto was a participant in season 1 of Voice of Finland. Blind auditions were broadcasted on 6 February 2012 by Finnish commercial television channel Nelonen. Aalto performed “Taking Chances” by CeliAalto auditioned in the UK thirteenth series of The X Factor 2016. She performed “I See Fire” in front of the judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh. Osbourne sent her home after she sang “I See Fire” from Ed Sheeran. Osbourne stated that there was no connection. Aalto, however, was given another chance after the crowd cheered to bring her back. Lawrie was saved by the “lifeline vote”, and Aalto sang ” Run” against Parker. Walsh and Osbourne voted for Parker’s elimination, while Scherzinger, Cowell and Cowell who had the casting vote voted for Aalto’s removal.
