Troyal Garth Brooks, an American country music singer and songwriter, was born on February 7, 1962.  His incorporation of pop and rock elements into the country genre has earned him popularity, particularly in the United States, as evidenced by success on the country music single and album charts,multi-platinum recordings, and record-breaking live performances, as well as crossover into the mainstream pop arena.

Tulsa, Oklahoma, native Troyal Garth Brooks was born on February 7, 1962.Troyal Raymond Brooks Jr. (1931–2010), an oil company draughtsman, and Colleen McElroy Carroll (1929–1999), a 1950s-era country singer of Irish[19] descent who recorded for Capitol Records and featured on Ozark Jubilee, had him as their youngest child.Brooks had four older half-siblings as a result of both of his parents’ second marriages (Jim, Jerry, Mike, and Betsy). Kelly and Garth, the couple’s children, were born to them.

The family hosted weekly talent nights at their Yukon, Oklahoma, home. All of the kids were expected to take part, whether it was through singing or skits. Brooks is a guitarist and a banjo player. Brooks used to sing in front of his family when he was a kid, but he was more interested in sports. He was a football, baseball, and track & field athlete in high school. He participated in the javelin at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater after receiving a track scholarship.

Brooks and Mahl divorced in November 2000, after splitting up in March 1999. They announced their plans to divorce on October 9, 2000, and filed for divorce on November 6, 2000. Brooks overtook the Beatles as the best-selling artist of the previous 20 years in 2012, selling 68.5 million sales worldwide, about 5 million more than the Beatles.Brooks’ total album sales hit 69,544,000 copies in May 2014, placing him ahead of the Beatles (65,730,000), Metallica (54,365,000), Mariah Carey (54,280,000), and Celine Dion as the best-selling record artist in the United States (52,234,000).

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Brooks became the first and only musician in history to earn seven career Diamond Award albums in September 2016. (surpassing the previous tied record of six next to The Beatles).Brooks was named “country touring performer of the decade” by Pollstar on June 16, 2021. (2010s).
