BioGeorge Michael (born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou) was an English singer, songwriter, and record producer who was best known for his work as George Michael. He was one of the most popular pop artists of the 1980s and 1990s, and in 1987 he was awarded the Grammy for best album of the year.
