And I’m confident that it took me 45 years to mature into the man worthy of your affection. I hope to spend each and every one of these birthdays with you until the end of my days. And even further. I am yours forever and ever (and yes, we did get married), “He penned a letter.
To go along with the post, Mark included a black and white photograph of Grace and him dressed in their wedding attire. Following their first encounter on a dinner date in New York City in 2020, Mark and Grace have been dating since that time as well. In May of this year, Grace was photographed with a large diamond ring on her left index finger, sparking speculation that the couple was engaged. During an appearance on ‘The FADER Undercover’ in June, Mark revealed that he and Lauren were engaged in a formal manner.
Both Mark and Grace are entering into their second marriage with this union. Grace Gummer, the third child of Meryl and her husband Don Gummer, was briefly married to Tay Strathairn in 2019. From 2011 to 2018, Mark was married to French actress Josephine de La Baume, who he divorced in 2018. The “Uptown Funk” singer recently tied the knot with actress Grace Gummer, who happens to be Meryl’s daughter, in a small ceremony. On Saturday, September 4, the English musician shared a heartwarming tribute to Grace on Instagram, where he expressed his love for the singer. A romantic portrait of their wedding day was also included in his message to his truest love. “To my truest love…out of nowhere, you made 45 the greatest year of my life,” he wrote alongside a romantic portrait of their wedding day.
“And I’m certain it took me 45 years to mature into the man you consider worthy of your affection. I hope I get to spend every one of these birthdays with you until the end of my days. And even further.” “(And yes, we did get married),” Mark continued. The couple, who are well-known for keeping their personal lives private, did not disclose the specifics of their wedding. However, it had previously been reported that they had tied the knot in New York City in early August.
Fans will recognize Grace from her appearances on Mr. Robot, Good Girls Revolt, American Horror Story, The Newsroom, Smash, and other television shows. Grace is 35 years old and has followed in her mother’s footsteps in the entertainment industry. As with Meryl, Grace received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College before landing her first acting role in 1993’s The House of the Spirits, in which she played the younger version of her mother. Mark, 45, has swept the music industry by storm, winning seven Grammy Awards in the process.
