Grace Helbig was born on September 27, 1985, in New Jersey, United States, to parents John Helbig and Theresa McGinnis as one of their three children. Her parents are John Helbig and Theresa McGinnis, and she is their daughter. John and Tim, her two brothers, are her closest friends. As a school student, she developed a strong interest in athletics, and she went on to become a successful track star and medal-winning pole-vaulter in competition. After graduating from Gateway Regional High School, she continued her education at Ramapo College.
While in college, she developed a passion for comedy, which eventually led to a successful career as a YouTube comedian and later as an actress on the big screen. On a personal level, she is best friends with Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart, with whom she frequently collaborates and with whom she is also best friends. Grace Helbig was in a relationship with YouTuber Chester See at the time of this writing. The year 2021 marked the year in which she became engaged to YouTuber Elliott Morgan.
This eccentric YouTuber also has a successful career as an actress, producer, and author in addition to her YouTube channel. While still in college, she formed a sketch comedy group with which she began uploading vlogs to her YouTube channel in 2008.
Due to the increasing popularity of her vlog, My Damn Channel founder and CEO Rob Barnett took notice of her work and offered her the opportunity to host her own video blog web series on the channel’s website, which she accepted. Having further developed her public image, she began appearing in television shows and films, both as herself and in collaborations with other YouTubers. Among Grace Helbig’s film credits are the comedy-drama Camp Takota, in which she co-starred with Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart.

She quickly gained the attention of My Damn Channel founder and CEO Rob Barnett, who invited her to host her own video blog web series DailyGrace on the channel’s website. She agreed. The series, which first aired in 2008, gained such widespread popularity that it was given its own YouTube channel in 2010. Helbig’s YouTube channel proved to be enormously successful, propelling him to great heights as a YouTube comedian. Her collaborations with other YouTubers, particularly Mamrie Hart, began around this time.
