During her 7th year studies at Pauline Hughes Middle School, a professor who heard her singing in the lobby urged her to join the choir. She then attended ‘Burleson High School’ where she performed in several musicals and took part in a talent contest.

On 20 October 2013, at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee, Kelly Clarkson married Brandon Blackstock, son of her manager, Narvel Blackstock. In June 2014, the couple had a girl and in April 2016 a boy.

Kelly Clarkson was motivated to pursue her musical aspirations after finishing her degree in 2000. She then recorded a demo using the money she saved by performing a series of strange jobs. She was so sure of making it big in the music business that around this time she refused to accept two recordings of ‘Jive Records’ and ‘Interscope Records.’

In 2001, she came to Los Angeles to search for possibilities and ended up working as a supplement for TV shows like ‘Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,’ and ‘Dharma & Greg.’ She ultimately worked as a vocalist with lyricist Gerry Goffin and recorded 5 tracks, in the hope of reaching a record deal. She was deeply disappointed when most recording studios in the United States rejected her, saying her voice sounded ‘too dark.’ She finally returned to Texas after a fire disaster and started to work as a telemarketing and waiter.

Kelly Clarkson discovered in May 2002 of her friends, who urged her to listen to the new talent hunt show, “American idiom: the quest for a superstar.” She had a “golden ticket” for the Hollywood rounds and was finally declared on September 4, 2002, winner of the inaugural season of the program. Her excellent show stint won her a record $1,000,000 deal with ‘RCA Records.’

On September 17, 2002 she began her musical debut with her double-A-side songs ‘Before Your Love’ and ‘A Moment Like This.’ The first was the best-selling track in 2002 and both individuals sprung a record 52 spots to the top of the chart ‘Billboard Hot 100.’

She

released her first album ‘Thankful,’ on April 15, 2003, which has garnered good critical reviews. The first album on the ‘US Billboard 200’ was released, while its lead song ‘Miss Independent’ reached a top 10 in the United States.
With her second album ‘Breakaway’ released on November 30, 2004, she sought to move away from her reputation as ‘American Idol.’

The record topped her debut album’s economic success and also received two ‘Grammy Awards.’ She released her third studio album ‘My December’ on June 22, 2007, in which she experimented once more with dark themes and a harder rock style. It nevertheless led to a controversy with her producer and music tycoon, Clive Davis, who wanted her to create more general tunes. While the album garnered excellent reviews, there was a lack of marketing in its sales statistics.

Clarkson, who began to co-write her third album tracks, proceeded with the album ‘All I ever Wanted’ published on March 10, 2009. She condemned the harsher topics for this album and cooperated with several prominent musicians, who helped to make the launch on Billboard 200 at number one. Her seventh album “Piece by Piece” portrays a single heartbreak narrative via her songs. Released on 27 February 2015, the first album on the list ‘Billboard 200’ became her third album.

The tracks ‘Love Soft’ and ‘Move You’ were published in 2017. She gave her voice together with Oprah Winfrey, Steven Yeun and Tyler Perry in the animated movie ‘The Star,’ which is centered on the birth of Jesus. She was also featured in the ‘The Voice’ show as a coach. On 27 March 2019, Kelly released ‘Broken and Beautiful,’ the lead single from the ‘Uglydolls: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.’
