Lukas Graham
Lukas Forchhammer is a singer-songwriter and actor of Danish and Irish descent. He is best known as the lead singer of the pop and soul band Lukas Graham, with bassist Magnus Larsson and drummer Mark Falgren. He is also recognized for his role as Krummerne in the Danish family film series. Forchhammer was born into a middle-class household and began performing at a young age.
He was a member of a YouTube channel where he shared footage of his band’s songs and covers before becoming famous.The singer has a number of platinum-certified albums and smash singles to his credit. His self-titled debut studio album topped the Hitlisten chart in 2012. His music is best known for reflecting real-life events and situations rather than elaborate fairytales. In 2011, Lukas Forchhammer, Magnus Larsson, and Mark “Lovestick” Falgren founded the group Lukas Graham. He posted the tracks “Criminal Mind” and “Drunk in the Morning” to YouTube and Facebook at first. Forchhammer and his bandmates became well-known after the videos went viral. With Then We Take the World and Copenhagen Records, the band released their first self-titled studio album in 2012. The band signed with Warner Bros.
Records the next year, one of the most well-known record labels.In 2015, Forchhammer and his band released their second album, the Blue Album. The album’s singles “7 Years” and “Mama Said” became worldwide hits. Warner Bros. Records published Lukas Graham’s self-titled global debut on April 1, 2016. The band played “Off To See The World” in 2017, which was later featured on the soundtrack for the film “My Little Pony: The Movie.”
Lukas Forchhammer made his film debut in 1991 with the film “Krummerne” (The Crumbles). He went on to star in the film’s sequels, including ‘Krummerne 2 – Stakkels Krumme’ (The Crumbles 2: Poor Crumble), ‘Krummerne 3 – Fars gode idé (The Crumbles 3: Dad’s Good Idea), and Krummernes Jul (The Crumble’s Christmas).Lukas Forchhammer was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, on September 18, 1988. His father, an Irishman, worked as a night cleaner while his mother worked mending and refinishing old household things.
Forchhammer spent a significant portion of his boyhood in Ireland. At the age of 61, his father died after a heart attack in 2012.Luke the Duke is another name for Forchhammer. He has also been a member of the Future Animals writing collective.In terms of his personal life, the singer is married to Marie-Louise Schwartz. In 2016, he became the father of a baby girl.
