For the fifth year in a row, the Union League of Philadelphia has been named the country’s best city club, and it’s a brilliant example of the city’s heritage. In Stone Harbor, New Jersey, the Bungalow, a private, members-only dining area, is a seasonal BYOB The Donald Ross-designed 18-hole course and clubhouse at Torresdale also has a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a trap.

Private, member-only Union League Guard House in Gladwyne, PA, opened in 1790 and is known for its old-world charm and superb cuisine. With a 27-hole course and refurbished clubhouse, Union League National in Swainton, New Jersey, serves as a home away from home for its members. There are 120 hotel rooms, over 50,000 square feet of conference and event space, and eating at the Liberty Hill Grille at Union League Liberty Hill. The League also owns and runs the Broad and Sansom Streets Midtown Parking Garage.

Membership benefits include access to the League House and all of its accompanying conveniences and services. Annual activities include speaker programmes, special dinners, formal galas, trips and athletic events for members and their families. It’s also possible for members to join more than 170 other private clubs worldwide.
